Dimensional Shift Anyone?

Dimensional shift

Have you noticed how quiet it has been this year?

I don’t mean the world. The world is always worlding.  .  . and it is noisy.

No, I mean . . . . I think I mean, energetically.
It reminds me of waves.
Not the waving you do at someone, the waves on a beach.

Not the big scary crashy waves, just normal waves, average waves, particularly the ones with long aprons of swash and slow rhythms.
The ones that start out in the surf. Out in the tumbling inversion.

They wind themselves tight, then spew out onto the beach like a 1am bar fight coming after you and your dry shoes like it has something to prove,
until it slows to a stop,
|can reach no more,
runs out of steam,
gives up,
sort of gasps and begins to turn.
And as it turns it gathers momentum, sucking all the water on the beach with it back towards the surf.

And you?
You are left high and dry in eerie silence.
Which is a bit like where we are right now, don’t you think.

What is intriguing me is that all the sucking would normally be building to the next wave. The more it sucks the bigger the wave.
And it has been sucking hard this year, no?
But it doesn’t feel like it is building to anything.
It feels like it is just disappearing.
To where I don’t know.

It has been so interesting hearing the people I work with describe their different experiences of it. One person described it as passing through a ghost town full of very busy people.

Is this the dimensional split that’s supposed to be happening? Have you heard about it?
It’s called different things: the Earth split, the timeline split, the New Earth theory. No?

Dimensional Split?

Well, the rough idea is that we are approaching a major evolutionary transition in consciousness. During this transition, according to the theory, people operating from fear, separation, conflict and ego are becoming stuck in what is being called the “3D” reality. Those of us living more from love, compassion, presence and inner awareness are aligning with a “5D” or “New Earth” reality.

Apparently, we are already in the overlap between the two realities.

So it’s a bit like two radio stations broadcasting simultaneously.

The old 3D station transmits:

  • fear
  • duality
  • violence
  • scarcity
  • tribalism
  • outrage
  • victimhood
  • domination
  • perpetual crisis

The new 5D station transmits:

  • love
  • kindness
  • peace
  • freedom
  • cooperation
  • creativity
  • intuition
  • service
  • synchronicity
  • abundance

According to the theory, we currently have access to both frequencies. Every moment, you can tune yourself towards one or the other.

The idea is that rather than the world physically splitting overnight, both realities coexist for a period of time. How long? No one is saying.

As far as I can make out, because it is a dimensional shift, it is about direct experience. So two people can live in the same town, even the same house, and yet their direct experience can be profoundly different.

Eventually, the overlap diminishes and the two realities become increasingly distinct.

I think there is a resonance between this dimensional shift idea and the energetic quietness I was talking about last time. Something about seeing the world doing its thing but also having a sense of being surrounded by quietness. What do you think?

Those 3D People

Having said all that, I do find the dimensional shift idea problematic in a couple of ways.

As human beings, we just love to “other” other people. We love to feel good about ourselves and our cherished ideas about ourselves.

The dimensional shift idea leaves too much space to write people off as being stuck in the naughty 3D reality and place ourselves sweetly in the holy 5D reality.

I have heard people say things about other people like –
“They’re soo stuck in the 3D.” “They’re very 3D.” “That’s such a 3D way of looking at it.” “So long suckers, enjoy the drama!!!”
Okay I made that last one up.

The other thing I find problematic is in relating to reality as a real thing that exists separate to direct experience.
The idea that there is your reality, there is my reality and then there is the “real” reality.
The “real” reality being a 3rd reality existing all on its own independent to both of us.

It is the one we are told to face when people say we have to “face reality.”
It is the one we are told to get when people tell us to “get real.”
It is the one we are told to be when people tell us to “be realistic.”
I have no direct experience of the “real” reality.
I only have experience of my own reality.

And it seems to me that the belief in this third reality — the “real” one — is at the root of a lot of conflict, including wars. We can fight endlessly about who is living in it.

So I’m still looking at it all. Still writing. I wrote a lot about the idea of the 3rd reality in my book The Gentle Snap.

Let me know what you think below. It all helps.
